Why Clive backs More United:

"I believe More United is a grass-roots movement giving a voice to people who feel disappointed with or excluded from politics. That's why I'm backing their values. If re-elected, I'll work to ensure these values are represented, both for the people of Norwich South and the wider country."

About Clive Lewis MP

Clive was born in London but his family moved to Northampton where he grew up on a council estate. Clive became a journalist for the BBC and in 2006 he graduated from Sandhurst as an infantry officer with the Territorial Army. In 2009 he served a three month tour of duty in Afghanistan.

Clive became an MP for Norwich South in 2015. A proud trade unionist, Clive served as Shadow Defence Secretary and then Businesses Secretary for Labour. In February 2017 he resigned from the party's front bench in protest at Jeremy Corbyn's decision to whip the Labour Party to support the triggering of Article 50.
