Volunteer

We have already helped some fantastic candidates by giving them our endorsement and the money they need to run their campaigns.

But we can still do something else important to help get them elected and give them power after the election: we can give our time.

Over 1,000 More United supporters have already signed up to volunteer.

"I couldn’t agree more with the aims of More United, before I was a candidate I was a member. Politics can’t just be about power, but doing the right things for the communities we serve. My grandfather, Clement Attlee believed in the importance of looking after everyone in society, I would be proud to continue his legacy and demonstrate the values of More United if I am elected to Parliament. We need a new kind of politics."

"To me More United is not just about championing the values we share, it’s about the fact that collectively we need to respond to an ever more polarised world. As politicians we need to reflect the best of our country and I don’t want to see the values we hold dear eroded by cynicism, division and intolerance. I’m glad there is a growing group of voices out there asking for people to be more open and collaborative, and work together where we agree."

"I’m proud to back More United’s progressive values. There is too much division in our politics and country at the moment and the beliefs that so many of us hold are under threat. I have always believed that we have more that unites us than divides us and that if we work together, we can create a fairer and more tolerant society. If I'm re-elected as MP for Leicester West I will do everything I can to fight for these values and put them into practice in Leicester and Westminster."
