Paul co-led More United’s first campaign which resulted in securing the first ever debate on the impact of Brexit on the NHS. As well we helping to secure the debate, he made an impassioned speech highlighting the commitment of his family over generations to working in the NHS. Drawing on his experience as both an MP and a GP, he spoke about the thousands of EU workers who have left the NHS since the Brexit vote, and the particularly devastating impact that this is having on nursing and midwifery. He ensured More United supporters were kept up to date with the campaign’s progress. Finally, he signed two cross-party letters to the Prime Minister.
