Emma Reynolds MP

MP for Wolverhampton North East

I am delighted to support the values of More United. Wolverhampton is a fantastically diverse, open and tolerant place.

Emma is the co-lead, alongside Justine Greening, on More United’s campaign on homelessness. This is an issue she cares about deeply, having written in the Mirror about her experience of statutory homelessness as a child. She also helped secure the debate on the impact of Brexit on the NHS and supported More United’s calls for MP proxy voting by making an impassioned speech in Parliament. More United supporters backed her during the 2017 election.

Emma is a member of the influential Brexit Select Committee and was previously a member of the House of Commons Health Select Committee. Prior to becoming an MP, Emma helped to set up a small business which supported British companies in understanding and influencing EU laws. She then went on to work for the Party of European Socialists in Brussels as an adviser to Robin Cook. Emma has spoken out forcefully against police funding cuts and has also warned that the Government’s immigration proposals could leave Britain with a shortage of unskilled workers.
