Jamie Stone MP

MP for Caithness

As levels of intolerance and divisiveness rise around the world, More United’s values become increasingly important. As MP for Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross, I commit to fighting for a fairer, more tolerant and equal society.

Jamie supported More United’s campaign to restore the Access to Elected Office Fund by writing to the Home Secretary, urging the Government to restore the Fund to support disabled candidates. He also added his name to calls for a debate on the impact of Brexit on the NHS. More United supporters backed him at the 2017 General Election.

Prior to being an MP, Jamie was formerly an oil and gas worker. His constituency in Scotland is the second largest and the most remote constituency on the UK mainland and he campaigns heavily to try and make sure that decisions made in Westminster reflect its public services needs.
