Restore the Migrant Impact Fund

More than 17,200 people took part in More United’s immigration survey.

Having listened to what you have to say, Tulip Siddiq (Labour MP) and Christine Jardine (Liberal Democrat MP) have decided that the first thing we’re going to tackle is restoring the Migrant Impact Fund: the £50 million pot of money for councils to ease pressure on local services such as housing, schools and hospitals.

The next government Budget is our chance to do so but Government spending commitments will be locked down by 22nd October.

Ask your MP to write to the Chancellor today!

British values of tolerance and openness are under threat across the UK. This is exacerbated when local communities with high levels of immigration have not been given the funds they need to support their public services.

We need to support those communities and help everyone remember that there is more that unites us than divides us.

Please email your MP today asking for their support and their action.

Note: As Nicky Morgan (Conservative) Chairs the Treasury Select Committee (which examines the Government’s Budget decisions) she isn’t taking part in this part of our campaign but remains involved in our wider immigration campaign.
